Structuring a ‘Healing Teaching’ School Day

When kids are older yet haven’t experienced much success, they often just want to “give up on learning.” For these children, using Brain Integration techniques are important to create stronger connections between the brain hemispheres, leading to easier learning and better short-term memory. Learn to teach in “success chunks” that utilize specific memory strategies for holding on to information. Model until your child grabs the pencil out of your hand to do the next problem. You the parent become your child’s “thinking partner,” teaching him how to use his brain in an entirely new way. All lessons are set up to ensure immediate success. Tests are only given once you are sure all material is over-learned.
In this workshop, we’ll look at how to set up each subject for this child who is burned out. You will be amazed at how these teaching changes will make a world of difference for your learner.
