The 10 Commandments of Chivalry, an Authentic Medieval Code of Christian Servanthood

$5 / Student, Ages 10 & older, limit 50, Saturday, June 18th: 10:15am – 12:20pm

What code did real knights follow? Chivalry has not only declined in recent years, but it’s also come to mean something very different than it originally did. Come learn about the original form of Medieval chivalry and discover how it can change your life today! During this presentation you will encounter tales of real knights to help learn the codes they followed. We will focus on the Ten Commandments of Chivalry, a description of knighthood written by a scholar named Leon Gautier. To add to the adventure, we will show off some armor and weapons of a medieval knight. And to top it all off, we’ll teach you some basic guards with a medieval long sword, get a padded blade into your hands, and give you a chance to prove your own martial skills! Aaron is a master storyteller that presents in character and in costume. The code can be found at: http://nmgrubens.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/10CommandmentsofChivalry.png
