Luke McMeans

Luke was raised in a Christian home and was given a deep love of Scripture and public speaking early on. After accepting Christ at an early age, Luke truly began feel the realness of God’s calling to ministry during high school. Through a period of deep growth during ministry leadership at his church, Luke realized that there wasn't anything he wanted to do more than tell people about the Gospel. His passion for teaching comes from his knowledge that the Bible impacts people’s lives powerfully and immediately! He has been given several amazing opportunities to travel around the U.S. to minister, preach, and lead, and has been involved with Walk Thru for 3 years. His time at Walk Thru has been the highlight of his ministry, as well as a powerful testimony that God’s Word NEVER returns void! Luke has created and led several student ministry teams in his church, community, and academic circles. He loves being able to get kids excited about shaping their lives around Scripture and the example of Christ. Nothing makes him happier than seeing kids excited about the Bible… He truly loves what he does!

Old Testament Live – Walk Thru the Bible

$10/student, Ages 6-12, limit 100, Friday, June 17th: 10:15am – 12:20pm and 2:30pm - 3:20pm (lunch break from 12:20 – 2:30pm)

It's challenging to grasp the big picture of the Bible. Yet this is one of the most important steps to opening up the Word of God to the hearts and minds of children (and adults too)! The Old Testament live event has been helping children and adults for more than 30 years unravel the mystery of Scripture and understand the big picture of the Bible. Throughout the OTLive event, children become actively involved with stories, lessons, games, puzzles, and other interesting activities aimed at teaching Old Testament themes. Each activity stimulates imagination, fosters creativity, and enhances group participation. If this all sounds like too much fun, it's because that's how kids learn and retain most effectively
