Stress-Free College Application – Is It Possible?

(High School & Beyond)

The college application process is frequently associated with stress and uncertainty, but with thoughtful preparation, it can be both manageable and meaningful. This session will examine practical approaches to reducing application-related anxiety, including strategies for maintaining accurate academic and extracurricular records throughout high school, understanding and contextualizing standardized test scores, and identifying institutions that reflect a student’s values and future goals. In addition, the workshop will explore how dual enrollment opportunities can distinguish applicants while providing an early academic advantage. Participants will gain tools to support students in navigating the application process with confidence and clarity.

Dual Enrollment and Homeschooling: Maximizing Opportunity, Minimizing Mistakes

(High School & Beyond)

Dual enrollment is one of the most valuable tools for homeschool families today — but without a plan, it can also be confusing and costly. In this session, we’ll explore the benefits of dual enrollment for every post-graduation path — whether your student is headed to a university, trade program, the workforce, or entrepreneurship. You’ll learn how it compares with popular credit options like AP, how to avoid common mistakes, and how to navigate credit transfer policies. We’ll also discuss the shift in the parents’ role as students take on college-level accountability. Whether you’re considering your first class or planning a multi-year strategy, you’ll leave with practical tools to help your teen earn meaningful credit while growing in confidence, maturity, and academic readiness.

Dual Enrollment and Beyond: Equipping Teens for Wise Decisions After High School

(Life Launch)

High school is a season of both preparation and decision-making. Dual enrollment can be an incredible tool to maximize learning, save time and money, and transition smoothly into your post-graduation years. But academic choices are only part of the picture. Teens also need guidance to prayerfully and critically evaluate the many options before them after graduation. In this session, we’ll explore how to make the most of dual enrollment opportunities, how to avoid common pitfalls, and how teens can ask parents for support as they discern God’s direction for their future — whether that’s college, vocational training, or another path. Come away with practical strategies and encouragement to walk in both academics and faith as you step into adulthood.
