General Questions?

I’m thinking about homeschooling; are there workshops for me?

It’s my first time — what do I need to know?

Yay! We can’t wait to welcome you! Check out information for first-timers here (including special discounts).

Does the conference have an app?

So glad you asked!

We’re all about making your conference experience a breeze — and the CHEC Homeschool app is a huge part of that! Once you’ve got the app downloaded, you can navigate the full schedule, “heart” your favorites to create a personalized schedule, view maps of the facility and exhibit hall, and more. Plus, stay up-to-date with notifications through the weekend so you don’t miss the important stuff.

Just navigate to your app store & download the CHEC Homeschool app, or click here for Apple or click here for Google

I’m registered! What’s next?

We’ll stay in touch through email; look for a special conference planning email the week of the conference with last-minute schedule updates and instructions for checking in. For now, check out the schedule and begin planning for what to take advantage of!

I can’t make a workshop! Are there recordings or can I record my own?

You can pre-order recordings, purchase them onsite, or order them afterward. Learn more here. However, due to contractual obligations, attendees are not permitted to record sessions.

I registered, but something came up. Can I cancel?

Just as is customary with any ticketed CHEC event, we are not able to offer refunds or cancellations once a registration has been processed.

In the event you cannot attend the conference, your registration fee can be converted into a donation, less fees, upon request, and we will send you a donation receipt. Tickets are non-transferable.

If you have any questions, please email .

View our policies for information.

Does CHEC provide a Continuing Education Form?

Yes! CHEC provides a Continuing Education form for those attendees who are required to obtain continuing education hours (e.g. maintaining teacher’s license).

Please download a form to print at home (click here). Fill in the form with the workshops you attended, and have each workshop presenter sign the form next to their workshop. Once you have completed the form, come back to the CHEC Info Booth and a CHEC representative will sign it for you or mail it to the CHEC office. Deadline to have the form completed is July 15, 2025.

Please note that you will need to check with your licensing agency to find out which workshops qualify for continuing education hours.

Do you offer sign language interpretation?

We are excited to announce that we will be able to provide subtitles to the projection screen for all of the general sessions and select workshops* for the hearing impaired.

*Workshops with subtitles won’t be determined until May. Check back before the conference!
