The Power of Mentorships: Secrets to a Truly Higher Education
(Life Launch)
This session is a “must-hear” for parents and students alike. Everyone recognizes that there are problems with traditional higher education. Yet, for all the press, commentary, and money spent to fix the problem, far too few people recognize the amazing benefits of one-on-one mentor-driven education. Even as homeschoolers, we often fail to realize that the need for biblical discipleship in education also applies to the college years. Get ready to adopt a new paradigm for “higher education,” as Daniel explains how your student can launch into life NOW, with a clear vision, through powerful mentoring relationships and real-life application.

5 Secrets for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
(Life Launch)
As an entrepreneur himself, Daniel has coached dozens of others through his company, ProfitCoach. He will tell you that entrepreneurship is one of the most rewarding — and unimaginably challenging — endeavors that you could possibly undertake. Just ask his wife. But for those who are willing to take the challenge, there is an incredible opportunity to impact employees, clients, and communities for the Kingdom of Christ. In this practical session, Daniel will share five important principles and practices to help you get started, stay inspired, and — by God’s grace — build a business that will yield far more than financial profit.

The Power of Delight
(Family Discipleship)
“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!” were the words spoken by the Father to the Son. “I delight to do Your will” were the words spoken by the Son to the Father. The ultimate Father-Son relationship was characterized by delighting and seeking to delight. Does this characterize your father-son relationship? Drawing from the Word and his experiences as both a father and son, Daniel will paint a picture for both fathers and sons of how “delighting” and “seeking to delight” can help forge the strongest father-son bonds.

Taylor Swift, Jesus, and Me
(Family Discipleship)
While it is convenient to imagine that Christian homeschoolers are impervious to the influences of pop culture, we cannot plead immunity to the lust and pride that saturates our toxic culture. How should we respond? Should we resign ourselves to the status quo? Should we hide away in polar huts with lead lining? Or should we pretend things are not as bad as they seem? This session will equip parents to help their children define a godly relationship to culture by asking five critical questions: “Who is God?” “Who am I?” “What has God done?” “What does He require?” and “Why?” To put it another way, “What’s the difference between Taylor Swift, Jesus, and Me?”
