Paul Washer
Heart Cry Missionary Society
Paul Washer was converted while a student at the University of Texas. After graduation from Southwestern Theological Seminary in 1988 he moved to Peru, South America where he labored for ten years. While in Peru, he founded the HeartCry Missionary Society and continues in this ministry until the present. HeartCry currently supports 330 missionaries on five continents. Paul is married to Charo and has four children: Ian, Evan, Rowan, and Bronwyn, all of whom have been homeschooled.

Many theologians have referred to this passage as the acropolis of the Christian faith. It answers the greatest question in all of Scripture: How can God pardon the wicked in a manner that harmonizes with His justice, or in Paul’s own words, how can God “be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus” (v. 26)? The answer is found in the life and death of Jesus Christ. He bore our sins, suffered the penalty due us, and made perfect satisfaction for sins.
