Sew Much Fun! Create Your Own Drawstring Bag
(Children’s Activity)
Calling all creative girls aged 9-12! In this hands-on sewing workshop, girls will stitch, create, and have a blast while learning a practical life skill. Each participant will receive fabric to make her very own drawstring bag to take home. Along the way, girls will learn how to hand-sew seams, fold and stitch the top to create a hem-like casing, and insert a drawstring — just like real seamstresses do! They’ll also practice sewing on buttons, building confidence with needle and thread. This fun, encouraging class celebrates creativity, patience, and God-given abilities while teaching girls life skills that they can use for years to come. No sewing experience needed — just excitement and a willingness to try something new!
