A Call to Stewardship

(Biblical Worldview)

In the Parable of the Ten Talents, Jesus shows that whatever gifts the Master entrusts to us must be faithfully stewarded. Civic responsibility is one of those gifts. Romans 13 reminds us that God establishes governing authority. In America, that authority ultimately rests with the people, as affirmed in our founding documents.  This means that citizenship is not optional — it is a calling. We will give an account of how we used the influence, freedoms, and responsibilities that God has placed in our hands. Let us engage faithfully and courageously, honoring the One who entrusted us with this role.

The Attack on American Liberty: Homeschooling is Just the Beginning

(Biblical Worldview)

Freedom — not homeschooling — is what’s truly in the crosshairs. Homeschooling simply provides the current context in which foundational American principles are being tested. The presumption of innocence, due process, and the requirement of reasonable cause are all on trial as policymakers debate how families educate their children. One side of the political spectrum seeks to take this freedom through increased regulation and state control; the other attempts to buy it by subsidizing independent education in ways that ultimately erode its independence. Both approaches undermine the core American commitment to limited government and parental authority. Homeschooling is the canary in the coal mine; what happens here will shape the future of freedom for every citizen.

Lifelong Learning: Modeling and Exercising Civic Stewardship

(Faith, Freedom & Foundations Track)

Homeschooling provides a powerful environment for forming citizens who understand both the blessings and the responsibilities of liberty. This talk explores how parents can model and practice civic stewardship as a natural part of lifelong learning — cultivating habits of engagement, responsibility, and gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy, and bringing their children along in the process. From daily decision-making to community involvement, families can weave civic understanding into the fabric of education, preparing the next generation to steward liberty with wisdom and courage.
