Learn Math with Card Games? Yes, You Can!
(Children’s Activity)
Are your children tired of flashcards? Do they cry when you give another timed test? Are you frustrated because your child can’t seem to remember the multiples of 7? Imagine your kids asking you if they can practice their math facts more! In this workshop, your students (ages 5-8) will play fabulous and effective math card games that are easy and fun. Participants will receive a set of cards and instructions from RightStart Mathematics and play addition and multiplication games during the session.
I Love Fractions! Oh My!
(Children’s Activity)
MFractions — often misunderstood and feared by children and adults alike — are fun when they are taught the right way. Children can move from hating fractions to loving them — or even loving them from the start! Participants (ages 9-12) will receive a set of cards and instructions from RightStart Mathematics and play fraction games during the session. Let your students uncover the beauty and simplicity of fractions by joining this engaging workshop!
