Anyone Can Homeschool! 12:30pm
When I say that Anyone Can Homeschool, I stand by my assertion. I have homeschooled through single motherhood, working in and outside the home, low income, chronic illness, and more. And it isn’t just me. Other parents do the same thing every day, in lots of different ways. Let me help you think outside the public school classroom and see the freedom and flexibility in home education
What to Expect When You’re Expecting (to Homeschool) 1:30pm
Thinking about homeschooling? This workshop is for moms and dads who are wondering if homeschooling is right for their family. You want to go into this with eyes wide-open and realistic expectations. Real-dad, Todd Wilson, will shoot straight with you, sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly; and he will help clarify whether or not homeschooling is for you
Frugal Homeschooling: Affording Home Education Without Government Help! 2:30pm
Former homeschooler of 28 years, Shari Howard McMinn, and her beloved husband, Cary, home educated five of their birth children in an urban neighborhood, then added five younger children through adoption after moving to a remote farm. With all of her adult children now enjoying a variety of careers, and several married with children of their own, she is a vault of wisdom from first-hand experience on all things homeschooling and parenting. In this workshop, she will share her “Frugal 40” tips and tricks to maximize family size on a minimized budget, while successfully homeschooling, as the optimal lifestyle choice in either an urban or rural setting.
Join thousands of homeschoolers this June 11-13th at the Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference in Denver, Colorado!
