The Family Business Track will be offered ALL 3 DAYS of the conference!

Discover how to cultivate a thriving family economy that reflects your faith, strengthens your family bonds, and advances God’s kingdom purpose. These workshops explore practical strategies for entrepreneurship, stewardship, and sustainability—rooted in biblical principles of integrity, diligence, and servant leadership. Whether your family is just beginning to dream about a business or already managing one together, you’ll gain insight into balancing work and discipleship, training children in real-world skills, and making Christ the center of your enterprise. Join us to learn how a family business can be both a calling and a ministry that leaves a legacy of faith and purpose.

The Secrets of Starting a Real Business – Thursday 11:00 am

  • Turning an idea into a real business takes more than passion; it requires strong, practical foundations. In this session, we’ll use real-world stories and lessons from my sons-in-law’s business, Xtreme Autowerx, to walk through the essentials needed to launch with confidence and avoid costly early mistakes. We’ll cover choosing the right legal structure from the beginning, understanding licensing requirements to operate legitimately and protect yourself, and building branding that communicates trust and professionalism before you’re “big.” You’ll also learn how to price for value while remaining profitable, deliver customer service that creates raving fans and repeat business, and apply simple, effective marketing strategies to get noticed and attract your first customers. You’ll leave with a clear, practical checklist you can use immediately.

How to Sell Without Being Pushy – Saturday 11:00 am

  • Selling doesn’t have to feel awkward, pushy, or aggressive. In this talk, you’ll learn what selling truly is: helping someone make a good decision by understanding their needs and offering a clear, helpful next step. We’ll focus on serving rather than pushing, leading with value and trust instead of pressure. You’ll learn how to listen well by asking better questions that uncover what really matters, and how to connect real problems to simple, fitting solutions. We’ll also cover effective follow-up — staying consistent and helpful without feeling annoying — and how to create repeat customers by delivering an experience so positive, people return and refer others. This is one of the top three skills everyone needs, whether in business, leadership, parenting, or everyday life.

Family Business Teamwork – Thursday 12:10 pm

  • Enjoy the stories, struggles, and lessons gleaned from a family business that has learned to thrive through the generations. Bill and Chad will share what it’s like to work together in business, ministry, church, and generational family life, as well as some of the lessons learned while building a business as a part of a family economy

How the World Runs and Your Part In It – Friday 11:00 am

  • Based on Kevin’s book by the same title, these are the most important things every young person should know before entering into life, work, business, adulthood, and the calling God has for their lives. God has Wisdom to share, but too often, this is ignored. This presentation touches on the macro-economy, but focuses mainly on work and life in the micro.

Foundations of the Family Economy –  Friday 12:10 pm

  • For most of human history, the home was the principal “factory” of society, and families worked together to produce everything they needed. But in the modern economy, the family is more divided than it has ever been. This talk explores the family economy as a model for productive households and generational discipleship, and provides practical steps for getting started.

Technology, AI, and the Future of Work –  Saturday 12:10 pm

  • Artificial Intelligence has changed the game for careers, college, and every step of the educational ladder. As AI-driven technologies become increasingly integrated into classrooms and workplaces, students and professionals must adapt to new methods of learning, assessment, and skill development. This talk covers some of the challenges we will face in this Brave New World and how we can navigate these changes and prepare for a rapidly evolving future.
