Mike Wales, a child of God through King Jesus, is a Colorado born homeschooling father of 3. A professional, manager, team leader, and entrepreneur, Mike has experience in many vocations, including several years in construction as laborer and owner. His most recent endeavor has led him to home and property inspections. Mike has presented discussions, trainings, and events in rooms both big and small. Mr. Wales lends his master of ceremonies skills to the Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference in honor of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

How does one begin training and working in the construction industry? Is there a minimum age to begin apprenticing as an electrician, plumber, roofer, etc? Are there companies out there who hold to Christian values and an integral work ethic that your highschooler or high school graduate can train under? Bring your questions and learn how apprenticeships can teach your homeschool student or graduate a trade that will provide for their future family and allow them to succeed in the construction industry without needing a college degree.
