Rachel Holdaway
The Lion At Your Back
Rachel Holdaway is a wife, mom, and Christian making sense of grief and loss while enjoying Jesus. She’s passionate about discipling her children to be Christ-followers, including being equipped to lament well. Rachel speaks on foster care, pregnancy loss, and navigating those issues while homeschooling. When Rachel isn’t at home with her kids, she can usually be found directing children’s theatre, spending time with friends at the park, or desperately researching how to be “crunchy.”

Homeschooling in Seasons of Lament
(Family Discipleship)
This workshop examines our emotional reactions while grieving and how they can affect our day-to-day lives. Participants will explore questions like, “How do I manage my emotions while also managing my children’s education?” “What are some practical tips for keeping life moving forward?” “What can I do when my emotions are overwhelming?” Drawing from her experience with foster care and pregnancy loss, Rachel offers a workshop that would be helpful for anyone experiencing grief.
Join thousands of other homeschoolers this June 12-14th at the Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference. Expect to have a lot of fun and fellowship with other homeschool families, find great deals on curriculum, and get practical encouragement for your homeschooling at our workshops and general sessions!
